1. Hooded Berryeater Carpornis cucullatus, male, Serra dos Orgaos National Park, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, September 13, 2003.  This stunning Brazilian endemic was fairly common at this location, where they were calling incessantly.  Note the chestnut mantle.  A small portion of one of the yellow wingbars is just visible on the right wing.
