These pages host my online collection of bird photographs, mostly accumulated over the last ten years. These images run the gamut from more recent, technically reasonable images to poor, documentary-style images of interesting or unusual subjects. Either way, I hope you find something here that's of interest.
The vast majority of the images here are digital captures. I currently use Nikon digital SLR cameras and Nikkor lenses, mostly a 300mm f2.8 combined with teleconverters. Images from more than five years ago were mostly captured using a digiscoping set-up, consisting of Nikon Coolpix point-and-shoot cameras and a Zeiss field telescope. The oldest images here were made with a Sony Mavica digicam that saved images to 3.5" disks. How things have changed!
